Hopefully this is the right forum to post to?
I'm having an issue with Openelec. Some of the DVDs I play are randomly stopping and the system goes back to the main menu / dash. Here are the logs I've managed to get.

Thank you for you time in looking into this.

To note; I have tried a known working DVD drive which plays the same disk fine on Windows 7 with Kodi 14 RC 3

After looking at the logs these are the errors:
ERROR: Error getting next block: Error reading from DVD
ERROR: ffmpeg[7F9507FFF700]: [ac3] incomplete frame
WARNING: CDVDMessageQueue(audio)::Get - asked for new data packet, with nothing available
ERROR: ffmpeg[7F9546029700]: [mpeg1video] sequence header damaged
WARNING: CDVDMessageQueue(video)::Get - asked for new data packet, with nothing available
ERROR: Got MSGQ_ABORT or MSGO_IS_ERROR return true

Any ideas in how to fix this?

I never solved it but I found a tolerable workaround: Rip the DVD to an MP4 and then store it on a NAS (Or USB) and play it from there. This method make a beautify library browser appear :)

I have this problem to, tried different dvd burners but all the same result. For me this problem started with version 4.2.1. Cannot find any error in the log file, only that it closes the dvd player. Seems to me that it closes after reading the second VTS File (VTS_01_2.VOB). Ripping the dvd to a hard disk works without reencoding it, but it is annoying. A friend has the same problem, Both are PC's not a media box or raspberry pi.
