To answer a question for TheDudeAlex, which asked if it would be possible to access his files on the Apple Time Machine. I don't own one, I only found the solution which I think could work:

1. Login on your box through SSH

2. Make a directory in "videos"(as it is writable) with the name Timecapsule:
CD videos
mkdir Timecapsule

Then we mount the Timecapsule to that directory:
mount -t afp afp://<username>:<password>@<IP of you Timecapsule>/<username> /videos/Timecapsule

Now you should be able to browse through your files on the Timecapsule.
A thank you is nice, but a donation is more needed ;)
Thanks in advance!!

Well, I'm guessing that openelec doesn't have afp support.
To my understanding there is only one way to get a afp client on linux -> afpfs-ng (sites.google.com/site/alexthepuffin/home)
And as I feared, it's not easy to get installed...

But thx anyway man!

EDIT: If only Time Capsule would have better samba support... Last firmware totally ruined it.

That package seemed quite old. Maybe Stephan could test it; to if it works.

Have you tested my guide?
I found it on the internet and is confirmed to be working on a normal XBMC install.

root ~ # mount -t afp afp://TimeCapsule:"Top Secret"@10.0.1.1/data /storage/videos/TimeCapsuleDirectory

OUTPUT: "mount: unknown filesystem type 'afp' "

I tried installing afpfs-ng and it's dependencies:

- libgcrypt-1.4.6, libgpg-error-1.10
- readline-6.1
- fuse-2.8.5

But already with the first one I run into problems...
./configure returns that certain commands can't be found...

I'm not going to be able to do this. And I guess it's not that important and this distro is just too minimal.
Still, I love everyone who helped to create OpenElec! Going to watch some Family Guy ^^
