Wasn't sure where to post this, so mods please move in case this is the wrong section.

I was hoping for a guide on setting up dropbox through the CLI (there are some instructions on the dropbox site: wiki.dropbox.com/TipsAndTricks/TextBasedLinuxInstall ).

I got most of the way through their guide but was having difficulty linking the thumbnails folder to my dropbox share and such.

I was also debating using symbolic links. There are two problems with that.
1) Thumbnails won't be stored locally on my SSD so the process will be slower than if stored locally.
2) Need to figure out how to auto-mount a network samba share on bootup (probably something easy to do but I am a linux n00b).

I just installed openelec last night on my jetway mini-top. Had a few minor issues, but nothing major (my SSD came pre-formatted so the auto-installer didn't recognize it), and then the sound issue which has been discussed very thuroughly on the forums. I got the connection to the MySQL database up in a jiffy, got Aeon MQ 2 installed (and all the necessary add ons that are needed with it) in a rather short amount of time.

Overall this is an amazing project! I hope I can contribute in some way.
