Don't expect an RPi PVR client anytime soon because there is no PVR branch for RPi.

Best thing you can do is just install the necessary client, mythbox, etc.

This is doing exactly what I just said.

This is not making an actual PVR build.

with the PVR=yes make option it will install the necessary pvr drivers. You then have to install your own pvr client after you have compiled it for RPi. Or you can use python addons such as mythbox.

Read what I just wrote. There is NO PVR xbmc RPi branch available.

You can compile it with the PVR option, but this will just include the drivers. If you want an actual PVR client then you will have to compile that and add it as an addon.

If you want clients (not servers) like, HTStvheadend, Mythtv, tuxbox, or HDhomerun without compiling you can add them as a source as shown here. wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=List_of_me...eos_Specific_Sources

Yes, someone could upload a precompiled image, but this won't include all PVR functions.

Hey guys since I saw that license are available to get I was so excited. But I have a question, it seems I need to get serial number from my RPi and I am on Windows 7 PC. I don't have any Linux knowledge or a Linux base pc.
Is there a way to get serial number from Pi on Windows 7 PC?

Thanks in advance!

You will need to download a program call putty from here once this is installed on you Windows 7 PC start putty and you will need to know the IP address of your PI type the IP address under Host Name leave everything else as default, click Open. You will that get a new window open asking for the username and password this is root and openelec. now you can type cat /proc/cpuinfo and this should return the serial number of the PI.

Hope this helps

A simple search would have directed you to this
wiki.openelec.tv/index.php?title=OpenELE...#How_do_i_use_SSH.3F

enter the Hostname or the IP address of you Rpi, then press OPEN.
A shell window will open then you can enter the default login and password
Login: root
Password: openelec
