I have installed OpenELEC 3.0 (RC 1) - 2.99.1 and CEC is no longer working

I have my Pi connected to a Sony BDVL600 which is plugged into a Samsung UE37D6100, as soon as I press a button on my Samgung remote the Pi disapears from the list of inputs, the only way to get it back is to pull the power to the Pi

I have noticed that libcec is 2.0.5 in this build, all XBMC distros I have tried running 2.0.5 have the same issue, 2.0.4 was (and still is) fine

I try also to get CEC working on a Samsung LE40B530 TV. I already did a firmware update of the Samsung TV and I tryed different images of openelec. I tyied already following Images (from here resources.pichimney.com/OpenELEC/):
OpenELEC-RPi.arm-2.95.6.img
OpenELEC-RPi.arm-2.99.4.img
r13402.img
r13433.img

But it's not working. The TV always shows two CEC devices, a recorder and a player. It is not possible to connect to one of these. It always promt: "device not connected. check and try again"
The cable is working, because the CRC of the Blueray Player works fine. I also tried all HDMI Ports.
I already tried the tipps from here: openelec.tv/forum/124-raspberry-pi/53444-solved-how-to-avoid-cec-auto-switching-to-hdmi-source-on-boot
but without success :-(
I wanted to attach the cec log file, but I could't find it. Following file does not exist: /var/log/rpi-cecd.log
What can I do?

Same for me. CEC has worked for about a month on my Samsung 46B530. I had two CEC devices, a rapsberry_pi and later a XBMC device, wich worked.
Now i get two "recorder" (recorder 1 and recorder 2) devices. The second seems to be the old working one, but when i try to connect, the connection was lost.
I have set the telly to factory defaults, have removed the D14 diode, have changed the cables, have used old openelec builds, i don't know whats going wrong.

Any other tips?

Hi,

Have you tried a cold reboot of the TV (turn off an unplug for a few minutes )

I think that the CEC from the R Pi somehow screwsup the tv sometimes. :(

A cold reboot worked for me !!!
Thanks a lot!
The first try (about 2 min unplugged) did not work, it has to be at least 5min unplugged.

OK, now my CEC is also working, seems to be to let the telly off more than a few seconds....
Thanx for your help!
