That's doable as a boolean. What should the description be? Something like "Enable GPIO LIRC remote"?

That description is fine. Allowing the in and out pin numbers to be configured would be useful for some (if you have I2S audio you need to change the pins), but a fixed setting would be a useful start.

On mine, I just use..

dtoverlay=lirc-rpi

I came here to request the same thing :)

Hi, Please you could add:

Under-voltage warnings
avoid_warnings=1 removes the warning overlay.
avoid_warnings=2 additionally allows turbo when low-voltage is present.

No. If the low oil light comes on on your car's dashboard do you put black tape over it, or fix the reason for low oil?

Go ask for rpi2 devs why they created this option.

I use them and would be nice a easy way to toggle them on and off.

I created those options. They should only be used if fully understood (e.g. by reading the raspberrypi forum thread).
There shouldn't be easy option that users are likely to try before understanding why the warning is there, and then complain later why their Pi is unstable.

No, popcornmix doesn't mean he created the options for you in the add-on - popcornmix is the "rpi2 dev" that created the avoid_warnings option in the Raspberry Pi firmware and is the best person to explain why what you are asking for is a bad idea.

Oh lol thanks.
The option exists, I know it's a bad idea, but they exist and I'm already using they for weeks.

I didn't found a good 5v 3A in Brazil, mostly box here use 12v 1.5A, I found only cheap 3A (still better than a good 2A) that still showing the rainbow at rare circumstances (mostly peak hd spin), I prefer to deal with a corrupted sdcard than seeing the rainbow while watching movies.

If can't add to the addon ok thanks.

Hi Leopold,
could you update your nice addon to overclock Raspberry Pi/Pi2 including the advanced parameters (also for GPU, SD card etc.) like

gpu_freq=
h264_freq
isp_freq
v3d_freq
avoid_pwm_pll
over_voltage_sdram_c
over_voltage_sdram_i
over_voltage_sdram_p
dtoverlay
dtoverlay=sdhost,overclock_50=
and so on?
It will be great!
Thanks a lot

Is there any special reason why this great Add-On is'nt part of either official or unofficial OpenELEC repository?
(I know there is a Leopold Repo, just interested why not included out-of-the-box).

Maybe because there is no need for an addon that helps a little with a task that will be done one or two times in a life of a Pi?
