I git cloned the latest Openelec version, and compiled it using
project-RPi2 arch=arm make image
(I'm typing this from the top of my head, not at home right now, so syntax may appear wrong...)
I have to say that I removed the inittest entry from the ignore line in Python/, because I need it. Other than that, sources have not been changed.
After a while (...) I get a nice image ending in img.gz in the target directory.
I moved this image to another box, un gzipped it, and put it on a sdcard. Finally inserted this one in my rpi2b.

When I power up the rpi, the green led flashes a couple of times, after that nothing happens.
On my TV I see a cursor ( _ ), not blinking, and the box seems to hang.....

I have seen a lot of warnings during compilation, but the compilation never stopped with an error (wouldn't have had an image otherwise... .)

Any idea what could be wrong here ?
Is there any way I can figure out where in the boot process everything halts ?
