Hey Devs/Peeps

So I built a new HTPC.
Specs are:
Motherboard
Asus ROG Maximus V GENE
Ram
Kingston LoVo HyperX 1.35v KHX1600C9D3LK2/4GX
Blu-Ray
LG CH10LS28
CPU
Intel 2.6GHz 35w i3-2120T
SSD
OCZ Nocti mSATA NOC-MSATA-30G
GPU
Asus ENGT220

I don't have a PVR yet but thinking about getting one.
Now if I use OE without a PVR installed but would OE work fine without one installed for now?
Then in the future I will add one?

So anyway which build would I use for my hardware above?
I will be using Optical out for awhile and then hopefully upgrade my AMP to one with HDMI.

Hi,

first try the intel release when having problems the generic one (more drivers)
You should prefer the x64 version of the builds.

Just start testing both doesn't take to much time.

Use the Generic image because it has drivers for nVidia GPU's (which you have). The Intel image is for systems with Intel GPU's (so it does not have nVidia drivers).

Hello,

About the question "Which version to install" , and more generally speaking, I noted this :

Official Daily builds folder is now empty :
sources.openelec.tv/tmp/image/openelec-eden/

For example, the last eden fusion 64 version founded there was from April 2:
OpenELEC-Fusion.x86_64-devel-20120402145419-r10416.tar.bz2

In Official builds folder:
openelec.tv/get-openelec
The last eden fusion 64 version is from April 7, so, more recent:
releases.openelec.tv/OpenELEC-Fusion.x86_64-1.95.1.tar.bz2

In this Official builds folder, we find for each CPU, at the same time:
a version:
OpenELEC 1.0 (stable)
and a version
OpenELEC 2.0 (Beta 1)

QUESTION:

-> Now, are the 2.0 beta 1 replacing the Daily builds ?

Thanks :)
