Hi, I'm completely new to openelec and have some truble by connection a usb flash drive. I´m using openelec 8.0.0 on a RaspberryPi 2. I ´ve tried to add a new video source but my usb drive doesn´t show up (no folder in /medeia or somewhere else). I´ve tried to add another usb flash drive but same result. Both are FAT32 btw.
I guess that the solution must be simple however I´ve searched a way to fix this for hours but couldn´t find a solution. I hope you guys can help me :)

Hi Aljosha, you seem to have the same problem as reported here:
openelec.tv/forum/65-storage/83343-automount-does-not-work-after-upgrade-to-8-0-0
I read somewhere there that the devs will solve this problem in the next days.

In the meantime, you can do a work around to mount the HDD on every boot.

1. Create the file /storage/.config/autostart.sh
2. Write these lines in the file, save and restart the system:

#!/bin/sh
mkdir -p /media/USBHDD1
# for FAT drives
mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /media/USBHDD1

# for NTFS drives
# mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sda1 /media/USBHDD1
