I cannot connect via Wifi my (new and first) Raspberry Pi3 with OpenElec on my desktop with Windows 10. I do find it’s ip-adres when I open my router, and when I ping there is no problem. Other hardware as my printer work without problems via Wifi. I checked and checked again all networksettings of OpenElec via my tv monitor and they are all ok. Is there a problem in Windows 10 and so yes, how can I solve it.
Thanks in advance.

When you get your PC to scan for available connections, does it identify the router downstairs as an available connection?
If it does, is there sufficient signal strength? If the PC is on the fringes of the router's coverage it may at best intermittently connect.
If the signal is weak and you can't move the PC try attaching a dongle to a USB port using a USB lead so that you can position the dongle to get a better connection.
