I hoped to use a Wetek Hub as a client for satip (2 T2 tuners from an Octopus Net) with OpenElec.
The fact that a search for "satip" or "sat-ip" in the whole forum did noch find anything is probably not a good sign.. DVB-
Can anyone tell me if this is possible?

If yes, then through tvheadend, as far as I understood. However, cannot find it anywhere.

I installed the appropriate image (8.0.3 sd-card-image for Hub) to a micro-sd. Hub boots from it (resize on first boot) and starts Kodi.
I also can access Web-GUI at port 8080.

But all the tutorials regarding tvheadend point to Settings - Addons - Services to activate it -- and there is nothing about tvheadend. Also no idea how to install any additional addons.

Probably has to do with this problem:
openelec.tv/forum/71-pvr-live-tv/75995-cannot-find-tvheadend-backend-anywhere

Thanks for all hints..

Well, somehow got mixed up OpenElec and LibreElec. Sorry.

With LE it was possible to install tvheadend service. However, no luck with scanning satip-channels. Octo is found, but muxes reveal no channels.
Probably because the predefined "services" for German DVB-T is still for the old T1 (switched off at the end of March) and not for new German DVB-T2.
New try sometime in the future..
