I use a Zotac AD02 with Openelec installed on a SD Card.
After installatino Openelec the display is stretched (overscan) so I have to use Video Calibration to correct this. So far no problem , but sometimes after a restart this setting is gone and there is overscan again. Other settings are saved, just the calibration is gone.
Any solution for this.

Does the problem correct itself after you do a reboot or do you have to go through and do the calibration again?

Did anyone figure out a solution for this one ?

I've got an Eee Box EB1012 that runs OpenELEC 1.0.2 64bit ION. We use it quite a lot. (Several hours a day). I have to calibrate the video a couple of times a day :( Sometimes the display is stretched after a reboot, sometimes a video just doesn't start playing on the first try (XBMC jumps to main view and starts updating the library) and the display gets stretched. A reboot doesn't help, I need to 'calibrate video' over and over again.

It's not a big problem but you really get fed up with calibrating the video after you've done it about 500 times, trust me :(

If anyone has ANY ideas for a solution or a workaround, I'd be happy to try it out.

EDIT: Sorry, this thread seems to be located under the Fusion Platform -section. I didn't notice it right away. I don't know if I should have opened a new thread under ion ?

I can confirm the same problem as manemies desribed. I am ruuning a Fusion and a ION platform and on both the calibration is very forgetful.
Question: Where are the calibration data stored? I haven´t found anything yet.
Or is it a HDMI handshake problem?
@manemies: One get fed up already after a 100 times :silly:
