I installed OpenElec following this manual and everything bots fine and seems nice.

BUT: no wifi. I have searched forums, googled and tried many suggestions, but cannot make it work.

Is there anyone out there with the same HTPC with working wifi?

Which wlan chipset does it contain, as the various websites don't offer that info.
The Acer driver download page even doesn't supply a driver for it (windows 7).
A thank you is nice, but a donation is more needed ;)
Thanks in advance!!

I have the same Acer Revo RL100 and I have no problem with he WiFi.

I am using Generic i386 build 1.02 and everything just works out of the box.
I even have a Cyberlink (Topspeed) remote controller and all the keys work perfect (unlike XBMC on "generic" linux).

Which build are you installing ?
XBMC: Acer Revo RL100 | TV: Samsung 46D6530 | Server: HP N40L MicroServer (OMV) | Belkin F5D4078v1 PowerLine

Sorry for dropping out of this thread that I have started. It's been some busy days.

The chipset question has already been answered.

I tried the generic i386 version (OpenELEC-Generic.i386-1.0.2), but first i failed with the Ion amd64 package (OpenELEC-ION.x86_64-1.0.2). I did possibly not do a complete uninstall or format the disk beore installing the generic version, although i THINK I did.

Anyway, I now have i XBMC live installation working onm top of pinguy mini and I am quite satisfied by this.
