I'll check.

I'm still using build 10068 because:
- 1.95.1 is not an option because it lacks the "irw" command
- latest nigtly builds have issues starting sabnzbd suite services (and other needed services)

You could copy it from working image.

Working with latest nightly (for the opera part, that is)

ultraman, could you do me a favor? .................way off topic

You have an Xtreamer Ultra. I've experienced a bug on many builds and machines now and I just can't pinpoint the culprit. When you're doing your next clean install (no addons etc), could you please check right after OE has started:

Press "I" on remote or go to sysinfo page and see if CPU values are updated?

Mine are stuck at fixed values on every machine I've tested. They don't appear to update. An internal XBMC reset, resolves things and values are updated again.

This bug does NOT appear when there is no network connected.

Hmmmm. I Wonder what's causing it on my test machines. It's consistent on 3 machines tested. Also strange it does not happen when disconnected. Must be some network related issue.

P.S. How's that Xtreamer Ultra 2? Much better than the original?

By specifications it is. I have one test pre-production device which has some bugs but it's fine. Openelec is great on it ;)

So I installed this add-on on my asus eeebox 1501 (using ION build) and opera works, but I have no mouse support. If I enable mouse support in openelec then I do get the mouse to move on the screen but not inside opera.

Any suggestions on what I can do to get mouse support?

Must use OE version with cursor enabled (read below).
..............
Latest versions of OE devel image with cursor enabled are here:
sources.openelec.tv/tmp/image/openelec-eden/
sources.openelec.tv/tmp/image/openelec-pvr/
And it's also enabled in last beta.

In addon home folder you have folder plugins where plugins must be copied (files in the form libsomething.so). If some extra libraries are needed then those libraries must go in folder libs in addon home folder.

I upgraded yesterday to version 2.1.10 and now it seems broken again. Switching back to 2.1.9 doesn't fix it. It launches but then switches to background or system hangs or i got a popup that wan't me to confirm something but i can't get there.

Did you uninstall old version first? And try to delete addon home folder manually too.

For me both versions works. The only problem is Flash which sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

Update:
2.1.11
Opera upgraded to 1385
Adobe flash player upgraded to 11.2 r202 in addon home folder
Flash seems little more stable

2.1.10 works well no problem

Update to 2.1.11 works but Opera didn´t starts after all.

So I removed all

Addon
/storage/.xbmc/userdata/addon_data/
/storage/.xbmc/addons/web.browser.opera
also the macromedia and flash folders

reinstalled, Opera icon appears in addons but after starting it wont download opera -> wont start :)

web.browser.opera-2.1.11-Generic_i386.zip wont work at me :)
web.browser.opera-2.1.10-Generic_i386.zip works ok (besides flash)

Logs says nothing :(

If it wont download opera then it's something wrong with your setup. I test links for opera and flash and works for me.

i try a little bit and got this behavior

2.1.9 install -> start -> download Opera ... OK
2.1.10/11 install -> start -> nothing happens O_o
no download nothing, nearly fresh install of OE

maybe generic version corrupt or x64 instead of i386 using or something ?
this log message looks strange

Can you try dl.dropbox.com/u/8224157/OpenELEC-Ultra/....12-Generic_i386.zip ? I made it especially for you.

The problem is that I just change few files inside ZIP archive lately.

Seems the problem is with launcher. You are using it right?

Try without it directly from XBMC:
For quicker execution of this addon you can add Opera shortcut under Programs menu
(System, Skin, Add-on Shortcuts, Home Page Programs Submenu, Add-on 1, Select Opera from menu and confirm).
