"Not work" is very descriptive

I change the design because I noticed that flash is running much more stable now. This is main change in v11 and it seems must run directly from XBMC without launcher because launcher is unnecessary.

Did you removed previous plugin?

Maybe also remove plugin folder in userdata addon folder?

It fooled me a few times as well.

I have a problem with Flash Player.
installed (update) opera : 2.1.11-ION_x86_64 ...but not work for me ! nothing happens ...opera does not start !. [To install new version of the addon you must remove (deinstall) old one.]
deleted all folders associated with the opera
I installed opera again: 2.1.10 ..../ later...... 2.1.9
Install OK... but no flash player plugin ...? :(
Maybe better to manually install Flash Player ...but to what folders and where to download the plugin flash player ....or plugin not installed with opera.
any suggestions ?

Ps. I tried older versions v.2.1.6/2.1.7 ....instalation failed ? ...Server errors can :P

2.1.12
Opera upgraded to 1387
libraries recompiled from latest git (addon compatible with beta2)
plugins installed in addon home folder
tested web pages: youtube, smh.com.au, svtplay.se, rtvslo.si

kobrawerde, I think the problem was with libraries. Some time back there was some downgrades in OpenELEC and my included libraries didn't work properly. Please try version 2.1.12.
All plugins (including flash) are under plugins folder in addon home folder. I noticed big improvements with this addon release. But maybe it's just me ;)

Slow? Didn't noticed that. As I wrote it was perfectly for me.

Next time try to completely remove the addon before installing new version:
rm -fr /storage/.xbmc/addons/web.browser.opera/
rm -fr /storage/.xbmc/addons/packages/web.browser.opera-*
rm -fr /storage/.xbmc/userdata/addon_data/web.browser.opera/

Just checked the skin and the error is line 263 in MediaFlags.xml.
<value condition="![substring(ListItem.Filenameandpath,bluray) | substring(ListItem.Filenameandpath,blu-ray) | substring(ListItem.Filenameandpath,bdrip) | substring(ListItem.Filenameandpath,hddvd) | substring(ListItem.Filenameandpath,hdtv) | substring(ListItem.Filenameandpath,web) | substring(ListItem.Filenameandpath,dvd) | substring(ListItem.Filenameandpath,3dbd) | substring(ListItem.Filenameandpath,.iso,Right) | substring(ListItem.Filenameandpath,.ifo,Right) | ">$INFO[ListItem.VideoCodec,flags/videocodec/,.png | substring(Container(8000).ListItem.Filenameandpath,bluray) | substring(Container(8000).ListItem.Filenameandpath,blu-ray) | substring(Container(8000).ListItem.Filenameandpath,bdrip) | substring(Container(8000).ListItem.Filenameandpath,hddvd) | substring(Container(8000).ListItem.Filenameandpath,hdtv) | substring(Container(8000).ListItem.Filenameandpath,web) | substring(Container(8000).ListItem.Filenameandpath,dvd) | substring(Container(8000).ListItem.Filenameandpath,3dbd) | substring(Container(8000).ListItem.Filenameandpath,.iso,Right) | substring(Container(8000).ListItem.Filenameandpath,.ifo,Right)]">$INFO[Container(8000).ListItem.VideoCodec,flags/videocodec/,.png</value>

Lots messed up in there.

And the other repeated error is due to missing a close bracket in all the conditions for Furniture_AudioLanguage in the same XML from line 285.

Hi,

I found your brilliant plugin today and I'm trying to get it work. I've installed the latest version on my Eden generic package and it installs and loads without issue, however there is no sound? I've tried generic and ION with no luck, can anyone help?

Thanks

john

Addon needs some time to download opera and flash. And it seems opera is taken some verification before install. That's why whole process takes long time. But until you get message "installing" it is still working. If something goes wrongthere is a message "failed".

About sound: Sometime back I wrote on my instructions page: To enable sound you need to have file asound.conf and disabled menu sounds in XBMC. Check this link how to add/change. Not sure if really nedded.

Hi

Sound is working in XBMC, I have the generic installation on my Zotac. The sound does not work only in the Opera PLugin, do I still need to alter the asound.conf?

Thanks

I don't know. You should try and report back.
On Xtreamer Ultra it works out of the box. No idea why.

Can confirm that the ION audio fix does not fix my sound issue :-( . Therefore the plugin does not deliver sound using te latest Eden generic installation on Zotac ND22
