Hi

I've replaced my previous XBMCLive setup with and openelec build. I run this articular system as a front end with the master server running the mysql database etc

However i previously mounted my network drives in the same place as on the other media centre so all the paths from the central database are the same.

Normally I'd do this by adding something like this to the fstab
//gravity/media3 /media/media3 cifs credentials=/root/.smbcredentials,iocharset=utf8,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777 0 0
however the fstab says its readonly, how can I do this?

Brand new to the forums but thought I would answer since I had the same problem.

The answer is in the wiki.. wiki.openelec.tv/index.php?title=Mounting_network_shares

This worked perfectly for me.
