Great, you want to use OpenELEC. There are a few build options open to you now. If you know which one you need, download it from the options below. Installing OpenELEC is easy, but if you're new to it then you might want to check out the installation guide on the Wiki.

Generic Builds

The Generic image is a "catch-all" build is now the standard build for all new installs on x86 based systems (Intel/AMD processors), available both as a 32-bit (i386) build and as 64-bit (x86_64) build.

If you don't have old 32-bit only hardware, or you don't need old graphic drivers, use the 64-bit build (x86_64).

RaspberryPi Builds

The RaspberryPi build (RPi) is a build based on the ARM architecture to run on Raspberry Pi only.

Please select the right build for your model, the wrong build not work with your RaspberryPi!!!

Freescale iMX6 Builds

The Freescale iMX6 build (imx6) is a build based on the ARM architecture to run on Systems with Freescale iMX6 CPUs only. Currently only Solid-Run Cubox-i, CuboxTV and Hummingboard are supported. See our Wiki for special installation instructions.

AppleTV1 Builds (deprecated)

The mk1 (silver) AppleTV makes an excellent and cheap XBMC box, especially if upgraded with a Broadcom BCM970012 or BCM970015 CrystalHD card. This image is tailored to the very-specific hardware found in the Apple TV. OpenELEC uses the NVidia graphics driver to support audio over the HDMI connection. Installing OpenELEC onto an Apple TV requires a different installation procedure to other HTPC platforms. To install, read This build is deprecated and will be no longer updated.
