Last but not least, we as the OpenELEC team would like to thank also FernetMenta for his time that he is spending on the project and for XBMC. Please leave some good words for him in the comments, because it is the least he deserves!
To start the good news, we have accomplished buying a Zotac AD02 box for FernetMenta, which is already in use by him and the first effects are already showing off by some of you.
We are really proud of all users that helped with donating!! Thank you very much. Please do not stop donating, as further development and research on new hardware is still needed.

it's great to hear that there's support for fusion processors! does this mean xvba will be used to accelerate video playback? also, will this work be integrated into xbmc?
any eta for r6 and fusion support ?
Hi, After messing around with compiling XBMC on a naked ubuntu resulting in a not properly working version, I tried OpenELEC for fusion (the developement EDEN build) and it worked perfektly!
Thanks for the great work :-)
However, is there a Changelog anywhere for the devel versions? There are new versions since I installed mine and I wanted to find out if updating it will be worthwhile. the file CHANGELOG in the tarball is empty.
Hello
I have a problem with some video during playback, there were disturbances

Well, i just checked the OpenELEC-Fusion.i386-devel-20110922153032-r7913 Build today on a Zotac Zbox Nano (installed on SD-Card). First Impressions: Movie playing (StarWars IV Remux) Looks fine, but after some Fast Steps Forward >>, the Movie got out of Sync with Double Pictures and Flickering (well known Problem) ... this Effect is also available, when using Menu Overlays.
But hey, it Looks very promising and i cant wait to hold the Final Version in my hands :-)
XBMC on openelec looks much better than on Windows 7 Pro (with lot of Dropouts). And it Boot very Fast.
Testsystem: Zotac Zbox Nano, 4Gb Mem, 2 gig SD Card

Great work so far, FernetMenta (and the rest of the OpenELEC team), awesome! :D
Really Nice FernetMenta (& OpenElec initiative!). I'm about to buy the Asrock E350M1 and I plan to use OpenElec.
Great news indeed!
Hey Mate,
Thats good news, but could I ask if there is any performance gain over lets say an ION2 system?
Just out of curiosity?
